I regularly fly these sightseeing routes from Lelystad. You can fly along and share the actual direct flight costs. As a private pilot I always pay my own equal share. We fly only when weather and operational conditions allow.
About me
Curious, entrepreneurial and always interested in how things work. I live and work in Amsterdam and fly myself in my free time. Flying combines two things I love: discovering new places and seeing the world from above.
I do not operate commercial sightseeing flights or sell air services. I fly for the love of it as a private pilot. Anyone flying with me shares only the actual direct flight costs, and I always pay the same share myself.

Meet the aircraft
Classic Cherokee looks with the rounded spinner and the original 1980s instrument panel. Great visibility from the left seat and my favourite for photos above the Amsterdam canal ring.
The younger generation: streamlined cowling with a conical spinner, a more modern interior and an updated instrument panel. A little more comfortable on the longer routes towards Texel and the Wadden Sea.
When I plan one of these private flights you can join with your own party, with up to three fellow flyers. We split the actual direct costs equally between everyone on board including me as the pilot.

Estimate based on the flying club's current rental rates. We settle the actual flight time and landing fees after the flight. I pay the same share as every fellow flyer; there is no profit, markup or pilot fee.
I fly visually. That means I need good weather: enough visibility and a high enough cloud base. In daylight without low cloud and without thunderstorms.
If the weather is in doubt I decide at the latest 12 uur in advance whether the flight goes ahead. If we cancel because of weather we simply agree on a new date. For your safety a flight never departs when conditions aren't good enough.
The upside: that's exactly why the view is so good. By definition you fly on a clear day.
