Perhaps the finest trip I make from Lelystad Airport: the flight to Texel. We follow the arrow-straight Afsluitdijk, cross the Wadden Sea and fly to the largest Wadden Island in the Netherlands.

About this sightseeing flight

The route to Texel that I fly so regularly runs via Enkhuizen and the Afsluitdijk to Den Helder, after which we cross the Marsdiep to Texel.

Once there you see endless dunes, wide beaches and the iconic lighthouse of De Cocksdorp. A combination of water landscape and island nature I don't come across on any other route.
