How does a custom flight work?
A custom flight starts with a conversation. You tell me what you'd like to see: a particular region, a memory, or a place you've wanted to see from above for years. From Lelystad I can reach almost anywhere in the Netherlands within my range, and with good weather a little beyond.
Together we decide the route, how long we stay airborne and which aircraft fits best. Because we fly visually, the flight only goes ahead in clear, good weather; otherwise we find another date together.
The Wadden Sea
Along the Afsluitdijk, past the Wadden Islands and the shallow tidal flats. At low tide you see the sandbanks dry out.
Veluwe & Hoge Veluwe
Forest, heathland and drift sand. From the air you see how the national park stretches between Apeldoorn and Arnhem.
Delta Works & Zeeland
The Oosterschelde storm surge barrier, Neeltje Jans and the winding coastline of Zeeland. Impressive water engineering.
IJsselmeer coast & fishing villages
Hoorn, Enkhuizen and Medemblik along the old Zuiderzee coast, with little harbours and historic houses.
Twente villages & hedgerow landscape
Protected village greens, tree-lined banks and the calm of the east of the country.
Across the border: Germany or Belgium
With enough fuel and good weather I can go a fair way across the border. Ask me what you have in mind.
